• 4 Pounds of Turnips
  • 1/4 Cup Ghee (optional) (Melted)
  • 5 Slices of Bacon
  • 1 Red Onion (Optional)
  • 1 TSP Sea Salt

Step 2: Make the Recipe

  1. Peel and chop the turnips into cubes
  2. Boil the turnips for 30 minutes
  3. Strain and transfer the turnips to a food processor
  4. Add salt and ghee to the processor (ghee is optional)
  5. Bacon option. You can either add to the processor or use the bacon as a topping
  6. Onion option: Cook onions in a skillet with ghee, butter, or lard/tallow and add after serving the mash in a bowl.
